It is with deepest sadness to pass on the news that Gill Bickerstaff lost her battle with cancer on Saturday 13th November 2021.Everyone that knew Gill would remember her as being so passionate about the sport she loved & excelled at. Her legacy will be like no other and she will be missed immensely

"She has made netball a part of so many girls in her years as a coach! She coached me from the age of 9!! Gave me the netball bug !! So much so I turned to coaching 4 years ago, and joined her club, Hertford hornets! Who she has been a part of since the club start in the 70s!!" Sam Turner, Hertford Hornets

Hertfordshire County Netball would like to send sincere condolences to Gill's friends and family.

Hertford Hornets paid tribute to Gill with a lovely video about her Netballing life. To see the video, please click here
