The Anne Miles County Schools Tournament 2025/26 will take place in September 2025 at Stanborough School.

Open to U14, U16 and U19 age groups - All age groups will be competing on same date.

Schools must be a registered member of England Netball.

£50 entry fee per team (NON REFUNDABLE)

Bookings will be open closer to the time.

Anne Miles County School’s Tournament 2025

This year the annual competition took place on Saturday 4th Ocotber 2025 at a very windy Stanborough School in Welwyn Garden City.

We welcomed 38 teams, from 18 schools, and across 3 age groups, U14, U16, U19.

A huge thank you to all of the schools, teachers and coaches for choosing to take part in our competition, our umpires and mentors, St John's Ambulance, the staff at Stanborough School, Chris Molloy who ran the PA system, June Griffith and Cathy Williams for presenting the medals and trophies and to Florrie Jones - the Hertfordshire Competition Lead, who did a tremendous job on keeping the day running smoothly, despite some unpresidented and unavoidable tricky situations and of course a thank you to Karen Cartwright and Anne Marie Riddle.

Anne Miles County School’s Tournament 2024

This year the annual competition took place on Saturday 28th September 2024 at Stanborough School in Welwyn Garden City. We welcomed 43 teams, from 19 schools, and across 3 age groups, U14, U16, U19.

Unfortunately we encountered a serious injury in the U16 competition which meant the afternoon had to be rescheduled, and the placings for the shield and plate categories could not be completed this year. We are pleased to report that the injured player from The Herts and Essex School, was discharged from hospital and has made a full recovery.

Anne Miles County School’s Tournament 2023

Saturday 30th September 2023 saw the annual Anne Miles County Schools round of the National Schools Competition at Stanborough School in Welwyn Garden City.

40 teams across 3 age groups took part in a wonderful display of netball in dry and sunny conditions (bonus!)

After the first round of fixtures, the competition is split into 3; Cup, Shield and Plate where teams then play further games to gather placings. The top 2 in the Cup Competition for each age group automatically qualify for Regional Schools in January.

A huge thank you to all of the schools, teachers and coaches for choosing to take part in our competition, our umpires and mentors, Chris Molloy who ran the PA system, Georgia Lees, June Griffith and Cathy Williams for presenting the medals and trophies and to Jo Randall who after this competition has now stepped down as Hertfordshire Competition Lead. She has set such a high standard for competitions and will be big shoes to fill!
