The HCNA AGM and annual awards was held on 7 th June 2023 at Herts Sports Village.

The AGM minutes will be available on the website soon. Hertfordshire membership fees were agreed and the annual accounts presented. A copy of the Annual Report is available in PDF format to members upon request to christinebeasley@virginmedia.com.

The following awards were presented by our President, June Griffith:-

• The Jenny Evans Coaching award - Abi Naugher
• Nexgen Club award - Chic netball club
• The Rose Harris award - Welwyn & Hatfield league
• Netball Teacher award -
  • Secondary - Danielle Wates
  • Primary - Georgie Elson & Rachel Kirton
• The Joy Hooper award - Lee Cooper
• Dorothy Broad Administrators award - Caroline Spooner

A special mention was made of Sarah Small and Liz Kearns who were appointed to umpire the Under 14s England Netball National Schools Tournament Final in March.
