Hertfordshire is sorry to announce the passing of Gill Oliver.
Gill started her netball career at Oakwood Netball Club in Middlesex where she was a player and coach. She moved to Hertfordshire in the 1980s where, as well as working with club teams, she coached the County senior team from 1990-1995 and the U18 & U21 teams from 1995-1997. She was a huge supporter and hard-working volunteer with Hertfordshire netball.
Along with Lynn Jackson she formed Hatfield Junior Club.
Gill was appointed England U17 coach in 1996 and was an England coach for several years.
