On Wednesday 11th March 2026, we hosted the Janice Cook Emerging Schools Netball Tournament at Wodson Park, for developing Year 9 Netball teams within the county.
Thanks to the schools, teachers and umpires for contributing to a great day of Netball. Special thanks to Hertfordshire County Netball Association who fund the event every year.
Huge thanks to June Griffith (Hertfordshire Netball President) and Chris Beasley (Hertfordshire Netball Secretary) for all their help on the day.
This year we had 18 teams which was fantastic. This faciliiated a Cup and Plate section being formatted in the aternoon.
Some great netball was played by all schools and the sun shone!!
